Welcome to Camp Adventure

Brookings Area Camp Adventure is a barrier-free day camp available for two separate one week sessions each summer for children and adolescents ages 6-21, who have a neurological or sensory impairment, communication disorder, mental illness or physical disability. The camps are separated into two camps: ages 6-13 and 14-21. 
Camp Adventure is held in Brookings, South Dakota during two weeks of the summer vacation. 
Camp will run Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. There will be a picnic on the second Thursday of camp to celebrate the weeks with new friends and family.
Camp Adventure is divided into 2 sections: four days for 6-13 year olds and four days for 14-21 year olds. 
Families are responsible for their camper's daily transportation to and from Brookings. 
Camp spaces are limited to 15-20 campers per week. Registration is based on a first-come, first serve basis.
